Who we are

Mani-Cured is a luxury press-on nail brand that was founded after almost two years of meticulous planning and research. With a background in education and a master's degree in the field, founder Alice initially started Mani-Cured while working in the post-secondary education sector. Mani-Cured quickly grew, as many first-time customers became return customers and referrals started flowing in! 

At the beginning of her planning phase, Alice rigorously researched the press-on industry and discovered something shocking. Many existing brands that claim to sell "handmade" nails were actually purchasing their nails from factory wholesalers and selling them as their own, with big price tags slapped on them. These nails are "handmade" by rows of untrained workers using cheap toxic materials in unsanitary environments. Imagine paying $65 for dollarstore quality nails...

Alice vowed to never participate in the unethical practice of selling low-quality press-ons at marked-up prices. She wanted to do it right. She enlisted the help of her cousin who is an experienced nail technician and instructor of her own nail academy. With her cousin as the leader of her nail team, Alice now had access to a team of skilled nail technicians and a fully-equipped nail studio.

Alice and her team spent another year testing different nail tips and making samples to create THE perfect press-ons. The goal was to make nails that look and feel the most natural, expensive, luxurious and NOT like every other brand that buy from wholesalers.

Mani-Cured started with an idea in 2021 and finally launched in March 2023. With Alice's diligence and her cousin's expertise and skills, Alice's vision of real salon-quality nails at affordable prices had finally become a reality.
